At Young Women Emerge (YWE), we believe mentorship is more than guidance—it’s a lifeline. It’s the difference between being heard and being overlooked, between untapped potential and real achievement.

YWE cultivates confident, capable young women by building strong, supportive cohorts of mentors and mentees. Through this powerful connection, each girl gains the confidence, skills, and opportunity to unlock her full potential—and become a catalyst for change in her community.

Our mentorship program offers continuous guidance, resources, and encouragement to ensure meaningful, lasting growth for both mentors and mentees. Through regular group sessions and one-on-one support, girls develop critical thinking skills and the courage to rise above the barriers they face.

We focus on transformative themes that strengthen leadership and agency, including:

• Recognizing how social, cultural, & physical environments influence success

• Feminism & women’s rights

• Detraumatisation & healing
